We are a consortium of academic professionals representing occupational therapy fieldwork programs at colleges and universities in the Philadelphia region.

Our Vision

The Vision of the Philadelphia Region Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Consortium is to be the premier educational resource for occupational therapy fieldwork education at local, state and national levels.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Philadelphia Region Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Consortium is to enhance the quality of occupational therapy education by facilitating collaboration and communication among our occupational therapy programs, fieldwork educators and our community.

This site's primary purpose it to serve as a clearinghouse of informational resources for fieldwork educators in the Philadelphia region and beyond. It is also a central source of information about the Consortium for our members and their fieldwork programs.

Our annual Clinical Council Day Event

We sponsor a Clinical Council Day event for site/student fieldwork  coordinators each year in the Spring. This event is a full day professional meeting of the best fieldwork educators in the Philadelphia area.

This is an archival video produced by Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association entitled "The Evolution of OT in Pennsylvania" that we thought would be fun to share. 

It's an interesting (and quirky) look at the history of Occupational Therapy in and around Philadelphia. It was  made in 1985, and while slightly outdated, it provides a glimpse at how far we've come.
